Something intriguing happened during the impeachment hearing yesterday. During the hearing, Trump used Twitter to blast the testifying ambassador and smeared her reputation. While it is true that the President can appoint ambassadors, it is not the right of the President to smear their reputation and threaten them afterwards. This ambassador was threatened before she testified and now she has been threatened by Trump in public on Twitter. Trump thought this would make him look tough to his followers or distract the public from the fact that his advisor Roger Stone has been found guilty and could face 20 years in prison. However, all he succeeded in doing was create another article of impeachment for not just obstruction of justice, but also witness intimidation. Trump also undermined the False Republicans’ defense for him, which is something he has been doing often these days. He can’t help himself because his ego is too big and too fragile, which makes him too unpredictable for his False Republican minions to defend coherently.
Guess what? A bunch of former Republicans trolled the House while they were interviewing a witness for Trump’s impeachment and they refused to leave for five hours. Despite that, the testimony continued after the stunt was over. This just proves how desperate the “Republicans” have become with this impeachment. With so much damning evidence mounting, they can’t defend Trump’s actions anymore so they decide to attack the legal process. This stunt was an act of desperation. It further shows they have made Trump the linchpin to their party’s political survival. Without the linchpin, their party will fall and crumble and they know it. If he goes down, he is taking all of them with him. That is why they are taking such frantic actions.
I am quite giddy lately as the impeachment inquiry against Trump progresses. I am particularly glad that it is moving so fast compared to how painfully slow it was during the Mueller Probe. It is moving so fast because Trump handed over the transcript of his call, thinking he could get away with it like he did with Russia. That was like a serial killer handing over his own smoking gun over to the police. Best of all is that the evidence against Trump is so overwhelmingly damning that Trump can’t come up with a plausible and coherent defense. He is reduced to lashing out, blustering, and temper tantrums. Even Trump’s allies in the former Republican Party are silent and whatever flimsy excuses they come up with are crumbling. Public support for impeachment is growing with each day that passes. At this point, the False Republicans HAVE to turn on Trump or risk political suicide. I am calling the so-called Republicans “False Republicans” because the true Republican Party is dead. Trump killed it and took over the remains. There is no Republican Party anymore; there is only the Party of Trump. Now, this impeachment will reveal where their true loyalties lie. They can serve Trump or they can serve America. They can’t serve both.
I am becoming increasingly disillusioned with the America I live in due to recent events. Trump has made many Americans forget how to be decent and rational human beings. He pardoned Kim Jong Un for the murder of a college student. In Michael Cohen’s recent testimony, he revealed that Trump has committed several crimes such as campaign finance laws. Some people may question Cohen’s credibility, but unlike the first time he went to Congress, he now has hard evidence to back his claims. Despite all that evidence, Trump’s base and the false Republican Party in general are still blindly loyal to him and are unwilling to impeach him. Previous Presidents have been impeached for less! When is enough going to be enough?
I had a funny idea regarding Trump’s obsession with his vanity wall project. In Game of Thrones, the character known as Hodor had a seizure and kept saying “Hold the door” until it slurred into “Hodor” and it became all he could say. What if something similar happens to Trump where he has a seizure and keeps saying “Build the wall” before slurring it into “Billall” and it becomes all he can say. Lately, talking about the wall that will never be built is all Trump talks about so I thought it would be fun if this happened to him.
I got this very pleasing gift for Christmas. It is toilet paper that has all of Trump’s Tweets printed on them; every lie and every insult. This gift gives me a golden opportunity to properly wipe away Trump’s lies and insults. I will be saving this for either Trump’s impeachment or when Robert Mueller reveals the full extent of his investigation. I can’t wait!
In the days after the 2018 midterm election, I have noticed that Trump is breaking badly. He has been attacking reporters and revoking their press passes whenever they asked honest and logical questions. He fired Jeff Sessions and replaced him with one of his lackeys just so he could gain control over the Russia Investigation. If there was no collusion like he claims, then why is he so hell-bent to stop the probe? Trump is scared and desperate to escape justice whatever the cost. Like some villains in fiction and literature, Trump verbally punishes his minions for their failure for losing in the midterm. Not only did Trump lose control of the House of Representatives, but he also lost key states in the Senate that were vital to his 2020 campaign. To make matters worse for Trump, even though the election is over, the race for the Senate is still going because several states are getting recounted and investigated for voter suppression. Due to this, it is possible that Trump may ultimately lose control of the Senate too. Trump has often been attacking people who criticized him, but these recent events seemed a lot more personal for him. It is likely his attempt to suppress the Russia probe will backfire and he and everyone involved will suffer the consequences. The walls are quickly closing around Trump and he knows it. Even though there is no escape, it is clear that Trump is willing to fight the iron fist of justice until the bitter end, which will completely ruin him, his supporters, his brand name, and entire family. It is going to be a political blood orgy in the next two years and I look forward to the moment when they drag Trump out of the White House while he is crying like a little girl.
