For Trump supporters I have questions:
1.) When I hear about how Trump speaks about and treats women, what do you hear?
2.) When I hear about how he speaks about people with disabilities, what do you hear?
3.) When I see how children are caged and separated from their parents, what do you see?
4.) When I hear Trump say Covid-19 will just disappear as thousands continue to die, what do you hear?
5.) When I see how Trump treats people of color, what do you see?
6.) When I see Trump having troops use tear gas so he can have a photo op in front of a church with an upside down bible, what do you see?
7.) When I hear about the attack on our postal service, what do you hear?
8.) I feel like our ears, eyes, and brains are experiencing complete opposite things and I’m trying to understand why. What is the allure?
I am becoming increasingly disillusioned with the America I live in due to recent events. Trump has made many Americans forget how to be decent and rational human beings. He pardoned Kim Jong Un for the murder of a college student. In Michael Cohen’s recent testimony, he revealed that Trump has committed several crimes such as campaign finance laws. Some people may question Cohen’s credibility, but unlike the first time he went to Congress, he now has hard evidence to back his claims. Despite all that evidence, Trump’s base and the false Republican Party in general are still blindly loyal to him and are unwilling to impeach him. Previous Presidents have been impeached for less! When is enough going to be enough?
In the days after the 2018 midterm election, I have noticed that Trump is breaking badly. He has been attacking reporters and revoking their press passes whenever they asked honest and logical questions. He fired Jeff Sessions and replaced him with one of his lackeys just so he could gain control over the Russia Investigation. If there was no collusion like he claims, then why is he so hell-bent to stop the probe? Trump is scared and desperate to escape justice whatever the cost. Like some villains in fiction and literature, Trump verbally punishes his minions for their failure for losing in the midterm. Not only did Trump lose control of the House of Representatives, but he also lost key states in the Senate that were vital to his 2020 campaign. To make matters worse for Trump, even though the election is over, the race for the Senate is still going because several states are getting recounted and investigated for voter suppression. Due to this, it is possible that Trump may ultimately lose control of the Senate too. Trump has often been attacking people who criticized him, but these recent events seemed a lot more personal for him. It is likely his attempt to suppress the Russia probe will backfire and he and everyone involved will suffer the consequences. The walls are quickly closing around Trump and he knows it. Even though there is no escape, it is clear that Trump is willing to fight the iron fist of justice until the bitter end, which will completely ruin him, his supporters, his brand name, and entire family. It is going to be a political blood orgy in the next two years and I look forward to the moment when they drag Trump out of the White House while he is crying like a little girl.
This is the False President after he refused to be interviewed by Robert Mueller. At first, Donald Trump said he would allow being interviewed, but now he has gone back on his word and chickened out. His cowardice implies that he is guilty of collusion because if he was truly innocent then he would take the interview without complaint. However, it looks like he knows Mueller can and will crack him like an egg if he was interviewed. I say if he wants to prove once and for all that there was no collusion then he should take the interview while he still can. If not, then his future blunders will give him even more humiliation to deal with.
