PAUL VERHOEVEN

I recently discovered a filmmaker known as Paul Verhoeven, who gave us classic scifi films such as Robocop, Total Recall, and Starship Troopers. Apparently, the man was a complete and utter lunatic. Despite this, I believe me and Paul Verhoeven are kindred spirits as storytellers because we LOVE telling stories that are big, violent, and grotesque. He is able to tell such stories through his films and I tell such stories through my books. Despite his ever-expanding madness, I find myself drawn to the man because of our similarities.
