HOTEL REVIEW: THE HILTON IN ANAHEIM

IMG_20150403_083726022

During WonderCon 2015, I stayed at the Hilton, which was stationed right next door to the Anaheim Convention Center. It was a large and luxurious hotel that every convention visitor should experience. In addition, it has an elegant restaurant that has an extensive selection of desserts, seafood, and a breakfast buffet that is to die for. The rooms are fairly sizable and comfortable with a view of Disneyland and the Convention Center. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking a vacation to remember.

WONDERCON DAY 2

Today has been even busier than yesterday. I have sold even more books, handed many more fliers and book marks, and captured the attention of a few more reporters. Also, I caught the attention of an instructor at a martial arts dojo for autistic children. After everything we experienced so far, my team and I are planning to make my next WonderCon book signing even bigger than this one. Tomorrow is the last day of the convention and will likely be the grand finale. Wish me luck and Happy Easter!

WONDERCON UPDATE: CONCEPT ART

Good news! There is a high school in Pomona that agreed to collaborate with me in preparation for WonderCon. They had an entire art class do concept art of my characters, which will be presented at my booth on a large computer screen in a continual loop. I look forward to seeing this concept art this weekend.

WONDERCON UPDATE: ONE WEEK TO GO!!!

Only one week remains until my book signing at WonderCon. It is the final push and I am getting the final touches ready. This weekend, I will receive my banner, book marks, and fliers. In addition, I will be gathering all of my required materials in preparation for next Thursday, which is when I will be checking into my hotel next to the convention center. I am more excited than I have ever been and look forward to the results of this book signing. Wish me luck!

WRITING UPDATE: SHORT STORY CONTINUES

I have news regarding my first short story.  I have decided to allow the main character’s love interest, who is also a neohuman whose powers are emotion-based, to participate in the fight against the supervillain.  At first, her powers allow her to sense the emotions of those around her, but now I am thinking that her powers will evolve far beyond that.  I will not spoil everything, but what I can say is she will become vital in the battle against the supervillain.  Also, I have an idea for the ending of this short story that would connect it to another one of the short stories.  Since my volumes and these short stories are connected, they are essentially all part of the same superhero universe so the short stories will greatly elaborate the Young Guardians universe beyond the volumes.  I will keep you updated on any further developments.
