As a fan of the original Top Gear hosts (Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond), I am always amused by their antics. In this video, they prepare for a big road trip to the North Pole by receiving special Arctic training. Their instructor was a former Special Forces soldier who was super bossy and had no patience for their stupidity. This soldier’s face was pixelated for security reasons since he was Special Forces. Because of his pixelated face, the Top Gear boys called him “the man with the ruined or funny face.” He taught the Top Gear boys how to erect a tent on the snow as well as pushed one of them into a frozen lake. Whenever the Top Gear boys did something idiotic, the Special Forces guy went nuclear at them and got increasingly more irritated with them.
While watching the Top Gear boys’ new show, The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime, they had a funny clip that showed an automotive company with the most unusual name imaginable. The hosts said that in order to search for this company, you have to look through a thousand Google pages of things you can’t unsee.
In BBC’s Top Gear, they had a challenge in which they had to make homemade limousines. Jeremy Clarkson, in particular, took a Fiat Panda and extended it to an outrageous size. By the end of the challenge, Jeremy’s Fiat Panda was eight feet longer than a bus. What would you do if you had a limo that big?
During WonderCon 2017, I got to ride an Iron Man themed car called the Renault Twizy, which I saw James May drive in St. Petersburg, Russia in Top Gear. Because I am a behemoth it was a tight fit, but it was fun to be inside a car that was superhero themed.
James May AKA Captain Slow and the slowest human being alive had discovered a new way to make a car. He constructed a car made of mud and everything went wrong. Too funny!
