When my pit bulls and I went to the dog park today, we encountered this two month old bull terrier puppy named Naia. She was so sweet, friendly, and feisty. She desperately wanted to play with my boys, but she could not touch the ground because she did not get her vaccinations yet. However, that did not stop my boys from sniffing and kissing her like she was their own puppy. I, myself, got to give her lots of love and she smothered me with kisses. I think Naia and my boys are going to have a beautiful friendship as she gets bigger and older. This was their first interaction and it went very well.
Wally the pit bull surprised me the other day when we went to the pet store together. They were having a sale for cats and kittens. When Wally met a little kitten at the checkout line, he gave it lots of kisses on the feet and face. Everyone in the pet store loved watching Wally give a kitten love. Sometimes Wally surprises me on how sweet he is.
I love my pit bulls. They are the light of my life and I cannot imagine a life without them. They have the biggest and most expressive faces I have ever seen. I affectionately nickname them the “Boo-Bears”.
This is my favorite kind of kissing booth.
My beloved pit bulls hunted for the elusive pool monster in my backyard. The water jet came on and they thought the house was under attack. They are the silliest puppies imaginable.
I saw this video of a man who had a pet fox and it was the cutest and sweetest thing I have seen. The fox loved getting love from his owner and liked to nibble on his hand like some cats do. I think to myself, “Who can say no to that face?” Because of this video, I got an idea of including pet foxes in my fantasy book, but they would be reserved for members of aristocracy just as some lap dogs were back in those days.
My writing assistant pit bulls, Wally and Fitch, have proven themselves to be super-funny guard dogs today. When my pool’s water jet came on, they thought there was a monster in my pool and went to chase it off. This video shows what happened.
