If you are afraid of bugs, you will be a gibbering wreck when you read my dinosaur book. As I have mentioned before, the increased oxygen levels on the manmade island will allow the local insects to grow to monstrous sizes. I am currently writing a scene in which my surviving characters come face-to-face with giant insects. However, even though these bugs are large flesh eaters, there will be one behavioral trait that will set them apart from the stereotype of the monster bug. I won’t say what that behavioral trait will be, but it will catch you off guard as they start crawling towards the characters. These kinds of insects have not been seen in over 300 million years, which makes them both frightening and biologically valuable.
