DINOSAUR GENES

I wonder what would happen to a bird if we spliced it with dinosaur DNA fragments. Would it become even more dinosaur-like or would it become something else? In terms of behavior, would this dinosaur-like creature still behave like a modern bird or would it become more aggressive and predatory? Also, what other consequences and byproducts can come from fusing prehistoric genes with modern ones? That will be one of the themes I will be addressing in my dinosaur series.
