For some time, I have been thinking of including a weapon in my fantasy series that is a combination between a sword and a spear. This weapon will be the standard-issue blade of an army in my third fantasy book. I got the idea from the Zulu Iklwa, which was the short spear used by African warlord Shaka Zulu.
