When it comes to genetic engineering, I am rather fascinated by the idea of artificial sentient beings. In my sequel spinoff for my Young Guardians Series, I am toying with the idea of introducing an artificially made superhuman. Let’s say someone grew ambitious about the superhuman population and wanted to create their own superhuman in order to create an army of super-soldiers. However, when you create life through science, there are bound to be mistakes in the end result. For example, their powers may become unstable or their lifespans may not be as long as true superhumans. I am thinking of creating one as one of the main characters for my sequel spin-off and this individual will be an example of a failed experiment, which will give them greater complexity.
