Jon_Snow_(S05E05)   Ramsay_Season_6

After watching Game of Thrones for six years, I have made certain connections between a number of characters, particularly Jon Snow and Ramsay Snow. Upon examining the personalities and mannerisms of each character, I believe it can be safe to say that Jon and Ramsay are foils and polar opposites of each other since they are both bastards from two prominent Northern families, House Stark and House Bolton. In contrast, Jon Snow is honorable, compassionate, and just while Ramsay Snow is sadistic, insane, and cruel. Overall, Jon and Ramsay both embody the core nature of their individual Houses. Jon Snow represents House Stark’s sense of honor and justice while Ramsay Snow represents the sadistic delight House Bolton gains from their tradition of torturing and flaying their enemies. Because they are foils of one another, I can see a battle between them taking place in the future, which will be a good old-fashioned battle between good and evil. I cannot wait!

Something terrifying happened to me at work today. While I was shelving books, I noticed a suspicious man sleeping in one of the public chairs (which is not allowed in the library) and I informed our security guard. When I went back to work, a lady told me that someone left their keys by the printer. I went to see and noticed that it wasn’t keys at all but a retractable knife! Seconds later, the suspicious man who I caught sleeping picked it up. Fearing that he would use that weapon on either my coworkers or the patrons, I informed my superiors and the security guard and we confronted him together. When we told him to leave, he left and did not seem to care about carrying a concealed weapon in a public building. This was the most terrifying experience I had since my father and I nearly got sucked into a tornado during a cross-country road trip. Still, I am just glad that I was able to diffuse the situation before that man hurt someone. What a day!

Before I officially started my career as a writer, I was just an ordinary autistic person trying to find my place in the world. At the time, I had no idea what my future held because I was more concerned with finishing my academic career and writing was no more than a hobby. The absolute best moments of those days were when my best friends and I would gather every year for my birthday. During these gatherings, we would traditionally go see the latest superhero film and have a large dinner.

While I was in middle school, the idea that would become my Young Guardians Series first manifested on one of these birthday gatherings. In 2002, my best friends and I went to see the first Tobey Maguire Spider-Man film and after we saw the film we had the most influential conversation. During this conversation, my friends and I discussed what it would be like if we were superheroes like Spider-Man. We wondered what superpowers we would wield and what kind of heroic deeds we would undertake during our crusade. Eventually, as we continued to talk, an idea formed in my mind that evolved into a story and I memorized everything my friends and I said during the discussion, which was easy due to my autism.

After the birthday gathering, I started writing the concept of The Young Guardians Series, which took me several years to refine. Then my writing career officially began with my first publication in 2009. This just goes to show that life-changing events can happen under the most unexpected circumstances.

Very soon, I will be celebrating my 27th birthday and I already know what to do. I intend to see the new superhero film, Captain America: Civil War and then have a large dinner at Claim Jumper. As a superhero fanatic, it has become a tradition for me to watch the latest superhero film on my birthday at the start of summer. After I see Captain America: Civil War, I will provide a lengthy review.

As technology continues to advance, I remain on the lookout for any innovations I can include in my sequel series. Among these innovations are powered exoskeletons, which are technologically advanced suits that increase strength and durability. In recent years, such suits have been constructed and are overflowing with potential. While examining them, I though about how much more advanced they could become in a few thousand years time, which I intend to include in my sequel series.

I have been watching the sixth season of Game of Thrones and I have multiple predictions about how events will unfold. Because I have watched the whole show so far, I feel as though I can see everything before it happens. For example, I have a very strong feeling that House Stark is going to make a comeback! At last! The reason for this is because of the events that have occurred so far with House Bolton. I am very happy with House Bolton’s current situation for a number of reasons.

Without Sansa Stark, who was the lynchpin to their hold on the North, the Bolton’s scheme to take over the North is coming undone. Not only are they surrounded by Northern Houses that hate them as a result of the Red Wedding, but they have Littlefinger plotting against them in the east, the Lannisters plan to march against them in the south, the Iron Islands preparing to renew their efforts in the west, and the White Walkers about to breach the Wall in the north. Thanks to Ramsay Snow’s actions, he is now the sole surviving member of House Bolton without an heir to succeed him. That means if anything happens to Ramsay, House Bolton will be as good as extinct and they will have betrayed and murdered Robb Stark for nothing. Also, because Ramsay murdered Walda Frey, the Bolton’s Frey allies will march against them. In addition, Roose Bolton said that if they act against the Night’s Watch the rest of the North will rally against them.

Since Ramsay’s plan to attack Castle Black will rally the rest of the North against him, I think Sansa will take command and lead them against House Bolton. Plus, we saw Littlefinger in the trailers and since he was conspiring with Sansa Stark last season, I think they will form an alliance against House Bolton. Also, Dorne, the southernmost kingdom in Westeros, is finally coming out of neutrality. In addition, the Lannisters’ alliance with House Tyrell hangs by a thread.

In general, I notice that everyone is ultimately moving in one direction: north! With this in mind, the war we have all been waiting for will finally arrive and all of these Westerosi citizens will finally come face-to-face with the one true enemy: the White Walkers! All of the fighting that will take place in the north will stockpile thousands of corpses for the White Walkers to add to their constantly growing army. If the Wall is breached, all of the armies that have gathered will suffer Winter’s wrath and the Long Night can begin once again!

I have been developing an intriguing idea for my sequel series. In order for these new Young Guardians to serve as an evolution of the first generation, I was thinking of introducing a series of specialized martial arts to help them in their war against evil. These martial arts will allow them to utilize their powers while simultaneously using hand-to-hand combat. For example, if a superhero possessed fire manipulation, they would combine close-quarters combat with fire-based techniques such as fireballs or flamethrowers. The way these martial arts would be utilized would be unique to each superhero depending on which powers they have. In general, these hand-to-hand combat kills would be entirely dependent on the user’s improvisational skills. This would allow them to make usage of their superhuman powers more efficient instead of simply blasting away carelessly. I have reached a section in the first volume of my sequel series in which the main characters will be introduced to these techniques after completing their basic training.
