While I love the idea of a utopia, I am also troubled about a certain aspect of the concept. While a utopia would not have the same flaws as the real world such as war, famine, poverty, and so on, it would probably have whole new flaws. It is a complex idea to consider because since a utopia wouldn’t have the same problems as today’s world it would have flaws that we do not yet understand. For instance, what kind of government would it have? How would the environment be managed? What would take the place of war, poverty, and famine? The list of issues goes on and on and it is something I am trying to analyze in preparation for my sequel series.
I have some good news and I have some bad news. The bad news is that the editors who were refining my short stories have dropped out so I need to find a new editor. The good news is that I am currently undergoing negotiations with a new editor and I am feeling good about what is to come. Once the negotiations are concluded, editing for my short stories will continue. Also, I believe I have found a potential publisher for the short stories. In general, everything is going well in my writing world. I will keep you updated on any further developments.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could see the future? Since no one lives forever, I imagine seeing the distant future before I die. However, since you are seeing the future, you are altering time by creating an infinite number of alternate timelines. Due to this, if you can see the future, you should also be able to see every conceivable future as well. With this in mind, you would be able to control the future as you see fit. That would be a power worth having!
I have written the first five scenes of my screenplay adaptation and am starting the sixth. Things are going very smoothly and it is hard to stop writing. Also, I have decided to make some modifications about my sequel series. Instead of a trilogy, I have decided to make it a six book series with five individual books telling the story of one major character and a sixth that depicts all five characters working together to form the next generation Young Guardians. Who knows? I might make even more than six sequel books. Only time will tell. Wish me luck and I will keep you updated on any further developments.
