One of the most prominent questions of science fiction is what kind of world would exist in the aftermath of an alien invasion. How would society rebuild itself? What kind of world would rise from the ashes of the old one? If the invaders won, how would they reshape our planet to their liking? If the natives won, how would they be able to survive on a ravaged planet? I will be addressing these questions in my upcoming fourth and fifth volumes. Let’s just say that the Young Guardians will have their hands full both during the invasion and after it.
I have started the eighth chapter of my fourth volume and the stakes are getting higher. In the aftermath of their battle with their frightening new enemy, the Young Guardians realize that their current numbers are not enough to face the threat that is approaching over the horizon. With the realization that the new threat could appear any moment, the Young Guardians have decided that desperate times require desperate measures. The clock is ticking to a potential Armageddon! Will the Young Guardians be ready when it comes? I will keep you updated!
In one of my previous posts, I talked about a character named Tara who becomes one of the Young Guardians’ new allies. Kensei was with Tara during her time in captivity, resulting in his conversion into an android. While Tara’s android body gave her superhuman speed, Kensei’s android body gives him a superhuman intellect and mental processing. Being highly educated, Kensei is confidant in his talents both as a strategist, making him the de facto leader of his trio before joining the Young Guardians. Kensei views battles, as a chess game, calculating his enemies’ actions in order to disable them in the most efficient way possible. His mental processing allows Kensei to mimic every fighting style he sees as well as memorize limitless amounts of data with perfect recall. Because of his enhanced mentality, Kensei is a valuable asset to the Young Guardians’ cause.
